
James P. Cline, CPA
James P. Cline CPA began his public accounting career in 1993 with McCurry & Associates after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Tennessee State University. In 1998, he became a partner and the firm changed its name to McCurry Downer & Cline. In 2003, Jim opened his own firm which is now Gray Station CPAs. The firm name represents Jim’s roots in the Gray community where he grew up and graduated from Daniel Boone High School. Jim lives in Gray with his wife Gretchen. They have three children, Kathrina, Jameson and Samuel. Jim is a member of Tri-Cities Baptist Church. In his spare time, Jim enjoys classic trucks and target shooting.
Teresa M. Morin, CPA
Teresa M. Morin, CPA graduated in May 1987 from MTSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. Although she passed the CPA exam by May 1990, she did not work in the accounting field. She was a homeschooling mom to her 4 kids (Danielle, Denise, Austin and Joseph) for several years. She began her accounting career with Gray Station CPA’s PC in January 2008, and after taking an additional 18 college credit hours to meet the education requirements, she became a licensed certified public accountant in October 2013. Teresa lives in Jonesborough with Paul, her husband of 38 years. Teresa is an avid Tennessee Titans fan, and her hobbies include NFL football, NHL hockey, reading, playing games on her phone and doing big jigsaw puzzles (18,000 pieces & up). She enjoys riding her scooter all over the United States. Since 2023, her new favorite pastime is spending time with her first grandchild, Owen, whom she calls “my little angel”.


Kirsten, Accounting Paraprofessional
Kirsten graduated in May of 2017 from Northeast State Community College with an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. However, she decided to pursue a new career at Gray Station CPAs PC in August 2018, and is currently working on getting her Associate’s Degree in Accounting. She started as a receptionist/administrative assistant and has advanced her role to include all aspects of an accounting paraprofessional. As an accounting paraprofessional she prepares individual returns, sales tax returns, business licenses, payroll reports, and handles various filings with the TN Secretary of State. She is also responsible for the firm’s payroll and accounts payable. In her spare time, Kirsten enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, hiking and kayaking, attending concerts, and reading.
Christina, Administrative Assistant/Accounting Paraprofessional
Christina is the face of the firm and is responsible for multiple aspects of the day-to-day operations. Christina began working for Gray Station CPAs in August 2022. She first started working as a bookkeeper in 1997 at Colonial Heights Tax and Booking Service and has worked off and on as a bookkeeper for more than 25 years. As an accounting paraprofessional, Christina prepares payrolls, payroll reports, sales tax returns, and provides monthly and quarterly bookkeeping services. Christina lives in Kingsport with her husband Chip of 30 years. They are faithful members of Indian Springs Baptist Church. They have five children and two grandchildren. In her spare time, Christina enjoys baking, canning, reading, and spending time with her family – especially babysitting her grandbabies.


Andy Southerland, Staff Accountant
Andy graduated from ETSU with his Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy in 2022 and then with his Master of Accountancy in 2024. After graduation, he began working at Gray Station CPAs as a Staff Accountant/CPA Candidate. He is responsible for assisting with payrolls, preparing financial statements, data entry, tax returns, and more. Andy lives in Gray with his wife, Megan. Their non-deductible dependents include their two cats, Darius and Harvey, and their dog, Paisley. In Andy’s spare time, he is pursuing CPA licensure. With the time he has remaining after that, he enjoys weightlifting, training Krav Maga, grilling, and helping his wife tend to her numerous potted plants.
